 | 28th Feb 2008 | Littl' Puddy's Visit
Littl' Puddy pulled into FKD's little town late in the day, on 26 Feb 08. A busy work week left only a little time for the initial photo-shoot.
I've made two contributions to Littl' Puddy, one was to weather the under carriage, just a little too clean compared to the heavily weathered top side. Applied dirt-rust mixture of Bragdon's powders.
But the more obvious addition, is a mangy mut named Roger (after Roger Miller famous for his hobo melody "Trailers for Sale or Rent"). Roger took his seat (some old pallets) in the Littl' Puddy Express and will ride the rails around the world.

 | 26th Feb 2007 | Layout Level One Docks and Yard
This collection will show the progress (or lack thereof) in building the yards and dockside area on my layout. This is the lowest level on the layout and is one inch above the plywood base (water level). It is the foreground of my layout and where most of the switching actions take place. The yard is in place - but I want to convert to peco switches and improve the operations of the layout. The Turn Table was a real challenge and lot of thanks are due my friend John for working with me to get it installed and working. Now to build out from there.

I've been playing with N scale toy trains since I was a teenager. Had one of the Aurora Postage Stamp N Scale starter sets. I live with my wife in a little house on the prairie. Really we do. Winters are long and cold, plenty of time to go downstairs and play trains.
